At the height of the summer, in the middle of the Algarve, while many are only thinking about enjoying a few days of vacation in this new post-pandemic normal, so many others are struggling with the scourge of unemployment, which in the region, due to declines in tourism, soared to record numbers.
Active in the search for answers and solutions to the problem, PSD Olhão discusses the next videoconference “Conversations on Thursday – Reborn with Soul“ Unemployment and social solidarity ”.
The fourth session of this cycle of online conferences will be broadcast live on PSD Olhão’s Facebook page, this Thursday, July 9, at 9:30 pm and on the panel of speakers will be:
Ofélia Ramos – Member of the Assembly of the Republic and former Director of the Faro Social Security District Center
João Arroja Neves – former Director of the Center for Employment and Professional Training of Faro (IEFP)
Dália Pires – Secretary of the Directorate of Casa do Povo de Moncarapacho
The debate will be moderated by lawyer Álvaro Viegas.
While community meetings are not recommended, PSD Olhão continues with the debate of ideas in video conference format, on a monthly basis, on the second Thursday of each month, with the aim of meeting the concerns of Olhanenses, through a proximity dialogue via the Internet, accessible to everyone in the comfort of home.
