Role of party youths opens new cycle of PSD Olhão’s video conferences

“Conversas Soltas” is the title of the new cycle of online videoconferences promoted by PSD Olhão. On a monthly basis, the next sessions will be dedicated to the autonomous structures of the Social Democratic Party, the first being aimed at young people who feel the call for civic participation through politics.

Broadcasted on the Facebook page of PSD Olhão, on Tuesday (Carnival day), February 16, at 9:30 pm, the first session of “Conversas Soltas” will discuss “The role of party youth” and will include the following panel of speakers:

Lídia Pereira – President of YEPP (Youth of the European People’s Party), the largest European youth political organization. The young woman made history by being the first woman and the first Portuguese citizen to lead the organization;

Alexandre Poço – President of JSD (Juventude Social Democrata);

Bárbara do Amaral Correia – President of JSD Algarve.

The moderator of the conversation will be lawyer Álvaro Viegas, vice-president of the Bureau of the PSD Olhão Section Assembly.

For the month of March, to mark International Women’s Day, the next video conference is scheduled to be dedicated to MSD – Women Social Democrats.
