PSD Olhão’s “Southern Dialogues” debut with Mendes Bota
PSD OLHÃO decided to promote a new cycle of intimate dinner-debate called “Southern Dialogues”. The first session will take place on November 25th (Friday), starting at 7:30pm, at the Barra Nova Restaurant (opposite Olhão’s fish market), and will have as guest of honor the Algarve’s historic social democrat José Mendes Bota.
Among the militants invited to enhance this first session will be the president of the PSD Algarve, Cristóvão Norte, representing the District Political Commission, and Cristiano Cabrita, member of the current Permanent National Political Commission of the Social Democratic Party.
In a more intimate dinner-debate concept, limited to 25 participants, the central guest of the first session of the Southern Dialogues will address the theme: “The internal politics of the PSD – regional, national and international – seen from the outside”.
Around the table, in a moment of conviviality among militants that is intended to unify and promote the exchange of ideas and opinions, after the meal the speaker will make a brief presentation of 15 minutes, followed by a period open to questions and answers.
The Dialogues to the South Dinner-Debates are scheduled to continue throughout 2023, bimonthly, always bringing a central guest who will address a current issue or of regional interest, stimulating the return to face-to-face meetings between militants, with the aim of encouraging the strength of Believing in the PSD as the only alternative to socialist governance. Whenever possible, District and National representatives of the party will also be present.
