CNE obliges Municipality of Olhão to postpone homage to Olympic champions

The Political Commission of the PSD of Olhão welcomes the decision of the National Elections Commission to prohibit the event scheduled by the Municipality of Olhão, in honor of medaled Olympic athletes, from taking place on September 18th and 19th, precisely the end week before the municipal elections scheduled for September 26th.

It is an event of great media impact, which aimed to promote the image of the Municipality and its President (re-candidate), in clear violation of the duty of impartiality to which municipal executives are obliged in a pre-election period.
